Hello, my name is Jaccari Marshall, and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my mother, Janice Brooks. In August 2023, she suffered her second stroke, leading to her hospitalization. Upon further testing she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a form of cancer that affects the bones and bloodstream.

As she’s completing her first rounds of chemotherapy, we've been informed that she's a candidate for a stem cell treatment that could significantly improve her condition.

My mom has spent the last 30 years dedicating herself to the education and well-being of inner-city youth in Long Beach, Compton, Carson, Watts, and South Central. Now, as she battles against this aggressive disease, she's unable to work.
