Helping Mr Socks the dumped cat

Donation protected
Hi we were alerted to an abandoned cat in the village he had fallen in one of the dykes was matted and covered in mud we started watching out for him and working with him to gain our trust eventually we were able to catch him and get him into a secure warm dry shed in our garden where we were able to assess him he was limping on his left front leg on closer look we couldn’t find an injury we contacted the RSPCA who gave us a voucher to take to the vets for his initial examination to be paid by them we had him scanned and unfortunately the numbers are no longer in use. Mr Socks is 14 years old he needs to have a blood test done to see if he is FIV positive or negative as this will determine his future as to whether he can live with other cats or if he has to be an only indoor cat. He then has to have a big boy op as he is a cryptorchid which is a very expensive operation as they have to go in to find the other testicle. And he needs major dental work done as he’s teeth are very bad we are looking at £68.00 for the blood test, we’ve been quoted up to around £1500 for the neutering and over £400 for the dental work. This little guy didn’t ask to be dumped. It’s not his fault he got old and he has arthritis as animal lovers we need to show Mr Socks that no matter your age your illnesses we as humans will love and care for you in your time of need I have already paid for his flea treatment I’ve bought special food for him so we keep him eating to gain weight and Ive paid for his deworming meds, he will stay with me until we can get his medical issues sorted and then I will find him his forever retirement home. Please can you help this lovely lad.
