Helping Mr. Robert find a place to call home.

My name is Nichole and the man in the photo is Mr. Robert. This afternoon, my son and I came out from lunch to find a flat tire! We were in our church clothes, and Mr. Robert saw me underneath the car in my dress trying to get the spare tire down. 20 to 30 men must’ve passed by me and not a single one asked me if I needed help until Mr. Robert!
Long story short, in our conversation, I found out that Mr. Robert is currently a man experiencing homelessness and has been battling cancer. By the grace of God, he just received his first clean scan! We chatted about our love for Jesus, prayed together, and I thanked him for helping us. I gave him my phone number and told him that if he ever needed a ride or help with appointments to give me a ring. There is no doubt in my mind us meeting was a divine appointment! He's sent a message checking in and wanted to make sure we got home safely! This man truly was a blessing to us.
All day, Robert has been on my heart! My whole encounter with him, he spent boasting on the goodness of the Lord. When I went to bless him after he so selflessly blessed us, he attempted to refuse… he truly was helping a neighbor with zero expectations.
My prayer in this Go Fund Me is that people will see his kindness as being the hands and feet of Jesus. I would love to be able to bless him with a short term housing option until he can get back on his feet again but to do so, it will truly take a village! I know the Lord has this man's safety in his hands and I believe God has big plans for Mr. Robert!
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
