On April, 4th 2021 Easter Sunday my mother came home to her house of 32+ years being completely destroyed by a fire. My mom is a good woman who is just trying to live. She just recently got laid off from her job of 16+ years a month ago, this home was the only thing she had. This was mine and my siblings childhood home. With no homeowners insurance it’s a total loss, leaving my mom feeling helpless. Anything helps, I know times are tough right now for people, but even just a share and encouraging words mean the world to us right now. With donations we plan to use it to help my mom get into a more hopeful position. She was given hotel vouchers for a couple of days from the fire department, but we are still trying to figure out what the next steps for my parents are.
