My Name is Annisha Gabriel, and I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, but also with hope and determination. My mother, Emerlyn Jules, who resides in Calgary, Alberta, has been facing an incredibly challenging health battle for some time now. Her health journey has taken a turn for the worse, as she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Failure. This diagnosis has brought with it a daily struggle and an urgent need for life-saving medications.

As you can imagine, the cost of the medications required to manage her condition is substantial. Coupled with her inability to work at the moment, our family's resources have been stretched thin. I live in Antigua, in the Caribbean, and the significant difference in currency exchange rates (CA$1 = EC$2), along with the rising costs of medications, have made it increasingly difficult for me to provide the support she desperately needs.
