Dear Friends, Family, and Everyone in the Community,

I'm setting up this fundraising for my friend Missy Grammer. I came to know Missy about two and a half years ago, when my second child was just a few weeks old. He was born during the pandemic and we were so isolated and I felt very helpless. Missy and her loving daughters became our friends and gave us so much support and love over the years.

A lot of you know what a kind and caring person Missy is without me saying more. She has always been giving but never asked for anything in return. For those who don't know Missy, she is the one who has a big heart to help out Everybody. Since I met her at a park when I brought my kids there, I will say what I saw there. Most kids who go to the park regularly know her (even if not by name) and love to hang out with her. She and her daughters were playing with all the kids and helping them one by one with the zipline at the park, so when I first met them, I actually thought they were one big group!

I just happened to be fortunate to make her acquittance. She threw my elder son a birthday party at the park when I was too overwhelmed (with the baby) to do one myself, without me even asking. But her kindness to me wasn't because I was so special, simply because she has such a big heart for everyone. Imagine the giving she does to everyone else around her who are her family, her close friends, and lesser-close friends, or strangers...

She was diagnosed of breast cancer a few months ago. Her insurance and the doctor she is seeing weren't very good. She is seeking to get another doctor, as well as continuing natural healing supplements. Hopefully she will find a doctor who is good and within the network. At the same time, the natural healing consultation and supplements are very expensive.

It is just NOT RIGHT for someone like her who gives everything to everyone else but never to herself, to NOT get properly treated and cared for during her own sickness.

I hope you would consider giving her a helping hand, if each of us do a little, we might be able to make a big difference. Thank you for your kindness and generosity !
