Many of you will know and love Miss Julie from TikTok comment sections :)
Miss Julie is always standing up for what she cares about- including 2SLGBTQIA+ issues, disability rights, BIPOC rights, feminism, anti-misogyny, and all things anti-trump! She's always willing to learn and lends an amazing ear, and support, to everyone around her.
Living with a disability is no cakewalk, and since 2005 Miss Julie has been living on a fixed income. She lives a simple life in a small apartment and has no mode of transportation aside from a small walker.
In 2020 Miss Julie underwent knee surgery which was followed by lengthy hospital stays for other health issues, including one in the ICU on life support, and then major dental surgeries resulting in all her teeth being extracted. She's been living with the added struggle of dentures (and the cost of them!) since May 2022.
On top of all this, Miss Julie also deals with the following ongoing health conditions:
- Insulin-dependent diabetes;
- High blood pressure;
- Heart disease;
- Severe anemia;
- Life-altering mental illness;
- Arthritis;
- COPD; and
- Balance issues, resulting in the need for a cane or walker.
Americans needing help with medical bills is a tale as old as time, and unfortunately one of our good friends also needs help at this point. Our goal reflects outstandings bills that Miss Julie needs help with- and in doing so we'll be able to take a lot of stress off the shoulders of someone who is always willing to help others.
