Mihail is a father of four. He is one of the hardest working men we know. He always puts his family first, sacrificing everything so that his children will have what they need. This family does not live a life of luxury. They do not live above their means. They live for their children, and everything they do is to meet their needs.

Mihail had a heart attack in early August. He was released from the hospital a few days later and was advised to rest. Because he is his family's main provider, he had no choice but to be back at work within a week.

On Friday, August 23, while working in Tampa, he fell from a height of over 10 feet onto concrete and metal and completely shattered his hip, leg and ankle. He was immediately taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. He had a second heart attack while in surgery, and the doctors had to stop working on him or risk losing him. Because of his weak heart, the doctors have to proceed with caution. They feel a third heart attack would be fatal. He has now undergone two surgeries and is scheduled for at least one more this coming Thursday. The doctors are not sure they can save his leg. 

Although he and his family live in Ft Lauderdale, because of his critical condition, the doctors feel he should not be moved from the hospital in Tampa.  His wife drove his children to see him on Saturday because he wanted to say goodbye. He knows he could die at any point on the operating table.

The family is desperate.  

If he survives the remaining surgeries, he will have to go through extensive therapy and will be unable to work for at least a full year. His wife works as a caregiver and will most likely have to stop working, because she will have to care for him. The children are too young to find work of their own to help their mom. They are in a very difficult situation and really need financial assistance.
