Hi, my name is CoraLinda Penney, and I am a friend of Michelle and Matt’s. I am sharing this fundraiser on behalf of the Waddell and Samson families. Before Christmas, our beloved Michelle & Matt experienced a devastating fire which has changed their lives in an instant - what should have been a time of joy has now become a time of unimaginable hardship. They have each sustained extensive injuries and have had to undergo emergency medical and surgical interventions in a specialized burn unit. They each have a need for lengthy inpatient treatment and will have a long road of recovery of months, even years ahead. Though there are many unknowns, it is anticipated they will both require a significant rehabilitation regimen including physio and occupational therapy, custom scar management garments, medical equipment and mobility devices. In addition, they'll likely require home renovations and will experience loss of income. As a family that deeply loves Michelle and Matt, we humbly ask for any support and contribution you are able to make to relieve some of the financial stress so that they can solely focus on physical and emotional recovery.
