Helping Michelle and her kids in their severe time of need

Our dear friend Michelle Lodder is in the wilderness of deep grief and unfathomable loss, following the sudden, shocking death of her companion, husband and life's love Cory.

Cory died suddenly this past Monday July 22 at their home in Houston Texas at the age of 38.

he leaves behind Michelle and their two young children, Emily and Connor.

It is indeed as shocking and heartbreaking as the pit in your stomach signals with your initial reaction. Life can be mean, cruel and inexplicable.

While there is almost nothing that we can do to assuage Michelle's deep, heavy sorrow, we can try to take the edge off of the unrelenting demands of cold life, which cares not about a woman's burden of grief, but continues to demand payment.

We can do that. We can get Michelle a small modicum of mercy in the form of a little financial help - for ANYTHING she and those children need.

Does not matter what it is. Maybe tanks of gas, maybe meals when Michelle cannot cook, maybe a utility bill or a car payment or a mortgage payment or just a small reserve fund.

Please do not feel obligated to give anything that burdens yourself.

Godspeed Michelle, my dear friend. I wish that I could absorb some pain from you - enough not to kill me but to help you. And if we all could just take a brick or two or three of pain off of your back, to share the grief... I know that we would.
