Helping Michael's Family Through This Tough Time

On April 10, 2023, our entire world turned upside down. Michael Candea passed away suddenly leaving behind his wife, Kelli and their 5 children, Evan, Jaden, Kacey, Connor, and Lindsey.

Michael was an extremely hard worker and equally as caring to anyone that crossed his path. He could fix and do pretty much anything and what he didn’t know he learned quickly. His limitless skills extended beyond his job but also to his family and really anyone he found who needed help. He had a knack for remembering even the tiniest detail about what someone needed or liked. He would go out of his way to provide and in everything, he gave it his all and beyond. His family meant everything to him.

Michael was an integral part of not only his immediate family but also his extended family. There are no words to describe the loss, anguish, pain, sorrow and disbelief we have all been experiencing. The loss has been absolutely heartbreaking. Our family is struggling to come to terms with this unimaginable void. This is uncharted territory for all of them. But no one has felt it more than the person he promised forever to, his wife of nearly 33 years, Kelli.

Our sister is now going to have to navigate a whole new life without her other half by her side. Michael was the sole breadwinner in the family for the last 27 years, and unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances was not able to maintain his life insurance policy. Now Kelli needs to not only find employment to cover his funeral expenses but also their daily life and health insurance. On top of this, she has the added challenge of finding a way to pay for all of the home projects Michael had started (and of course was completing himself). This is the last thing Michael would have wanted his family to go through.
