We come to you today with heavy hearts as Metsly faces a challenging battle against thyroid cancer. At 14, Metsly should be focusing on school, dreams, and all the joys of youth. Instead, she's having many hospital visits and worrying about her health as she fights against stage 4 thyroid cancer.

Metsly is full of positivity and happiness to everyone around her. She faces each day with a smile and is determined to fight at all costs. However, the financial burden of medical bills, medications, and other associated costs is overwhelming for her and her family as they live in the Dominican Republic. Living there causes difficulty because healthcare insurance does not cover the necessary costs for medical care and medication she needs to overcome this illness.
