Megumi was diagnosed with Graves Disease and Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. The cancer has spread to her surrounding lymph nodes. She is scheduled for surgery on June 22nd to remove her thyroid and and surrounding nodes. After she recovers from surgery she will start radiation. Due to her autoimmune disorder she will have to isolate before and after surgery and again during treatment. Megumi and her family have a very long road ahead of them with the possibility of reoccurrence being common. My sister is one of the most strong headed, stubborn people I know. And she would have never asked anyone for help, that's where I'm stepping in. I'm asking all of you to please help my sister! I need help with making sure her bills are paid, gas for appointments, food, and things for her daughter Addie. I will update this as much as I can. We love you all!! Thank you!!
