Helping me get my brain shunt

Hi my name is DeLenna, I'm 33 and a mom of four. This coming April I have to have a brain shunt placed due to pseudotumor intracranial hypertension. After several years of trying different medications everything has failed and I've lost vision. We're trying to keep me from losing my sight completely and other issues. I also have ehlers-danlos syndrome and multiple other health issues I wasn't diagnosed until I had my youngest child. And unfortunately all of my kids have multiple health issues. Due to my rare health issues I have to go to Cleveland clinic which is almost 6 hours from home. So my husband will be taking off several days of work to take me because I have to do a couple days of testing before surgery and then obviously the surgery and recovery. I'm not one to ask for help. Actually it really bothers me to ask for help. But with him taking days off and bills and life in general I know not to let pride get in my way. And so I'm asking if you can to help so we are able to pay for a room for several days before and so he can eat while we're there. And please don't put yourself in a bad spot and don't take it from yourself if you're not able to. Anything that you can give is greatly appreciated. God bless you and I hope you all are blessed.
