Early April I detected a mass on my right breast that was fairly large. I went to have a mammogram and ultrasound of it but the doctors decided to have a biopsy that day as well. Before I left the hospital they told me I had cancer but they wouldn’t know the extent until pathology came back. So they called me the next day. Stage 3, grade 3, triple negative breast cancer. It’s the one you don’t want. I went through 4 months of the red devil chemo dense dose paired with another strong chemo. I had a double mastectomy Sept 28th with lymph node removal. However, all of the cancer wasn’t killed.  Now I am about to enter into a clinical trial and do chemo for 6 more months and then do 6 weeks of radiation. I’ve had my ups and downs throughout this journey. But ultimately I know that God is sovereign. His will will be done. Which makes me unafraid.  I am unable to work throughout this. Some women can and they quite frankly are super hero’s. I can barely get out of bed and if I do have to get out to go to the grocery store, I am done for the day. No energy for anything. So my life lives on the grace of others. Holidays rolling around I know It’s hard to give. But even $5 helps. I had another fundraiser going but it it’s payjng out $16 a week. That’s impossible to live on. We are trying to figure out what’s going on with that now. So i’m starting this fundraiser because i’ve used it before and i know there’s no gimmicks or hoops to jump thru. If you can help please do. All the trips, food, bills. It all adds up and I don’t think i can do this homeless. I’ve thought about quitting treatment all together- which would be a sure way for it to spread. But at least I can work that way. I don’t know. I’m so cofused and hurt at this hand I was dealt. I can’t seem to catch a break.
