Helping McKenna Heal

For the many of you who haven't already heard, my daughter, McKenna, scratched her cornea over a week ago and it quickly became infected and developed an ulcer. (Clean your contacts daily and don't sleep in them, folks!) We have been told from the many doctors we've seen over the past week that it's one of the worst cases they've ever seen. We had a couple of terrifying days where we were told to prepare for the possibility that she may lose her eye. Thankfully, with the help of amazing specialists and a ridiculous amount of expensive eye drops, it's looking like it won't come to that. But she still has a long way to go for recovery.

As of now, though she is showing small signs of improvement, McKenna is still experiencing quite a bit of pain and remains mostly blind in that eye. For at least another couple of weeks, she is unable to drive or go to work. She is living on her own and has been spending the past year trying to learn how to survive in the adult world. Brandon and I are both still financially recovering from our recent divorce and my family has already done so much to support us. So unfortunately, we find ourselves desperately needing a little financial help. If anyone reading this finds themselves in the position to help in any way, big or small, we would be so very grateful. Or if money is hard for you at this time, we will gladly accept your prayers and positive thoughts.

We're hoping this money will cover her bills and medical expenses for the next month so she can have one less thing to worry about. Thank you so much!
