Helping Marvin’s Family Through This Tough Time

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Andrew Hernandez:
I am doing this for the family of my little brother, Marvin Ralpheal Hernandez. He was a grandfather, a father, a biker, a martial artist, a welder, and my little brother who I love more than he ever knew, and more than I could ever start to even mention.

It is tough right now for me to write this because he passed in his sleep on 4/23/26, and I have stopped and started this many times because it is a pain that doesn't stop.

Let me state what happened, hoping that this story will, if not move you to donate, at least move you to reach out to a family member which you have anger with. Or reach out to a family member that you have been estranged from.

He was a tough and complicated person. A man with a good heart who could not beat the detriments of a bad heart. However, I am rambling because I am trying to sum up 48 years into this.

He married a wonderful woman who turned out to be his great love, Deserie, and with her, had my niece and nephews, Marrissa, Dominic, and Alex. From Dom and Marrissa, two little grandchildren.

He studied, like myself, martial arts all of his life. Unlike myself, his body was not racked by a collection of injuries that eventually caused me to pull back. He was far tougher than I was and he excelled in Jujitsu , wing chun, as well as boxing well into his 40's, Long after I hung up my belts, I always admired that.

He had a great job, a loving family, and a future that was promising.

He passed after moving into a new place and welcoming a new granddaughter. I will not go into any further detail. It is too painful for myself and his family.

His wife is disabled because prolonged COVID made her that way. And the sons and daughter can only do so much; they have their lives and they need to progress and need help for that because that is what my brother was trying to do but can't any more.

I am trying to raise about $50,000 in order to help them cover the debt and the rent for a year. Then they will be able to hit a restart.

I thank you for your attention.
