My name is Tenille, and I am reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Marley.
Marley, my 13-year-old Golden Retriever, is more than a dog—she is my best friend, my loyal companion, and my rock. She is incredibly loved and has been by my side through everything for over a decade.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and to see if maybe we can get some help. Normally, I am fiercely independent and would never ask for assistance, but after a year of extraordinary medical expenses, our resources and Marley savings are completely depleted.
Marley recently developed a rapidly growing lump under her tail. Following an aspiration, the lab reported that the cells had "too many changing margins and borders," indicating a high suspicion of malignancy.
To determine the exact nature of the lump and begin any necessary cancer treatment, immediate surgical excision and biopsy are required which we have received a quote for. The total is $2,200.
This expense comes after an already devastating financial year for Marley's health. We have already spent over $10,000 for her care, including a recent major tieback surgery. Our veterinary bills have exceeded $8,000 just since July 2025.
With Christmas rapidly approaching, this additional large expense is simply too much for us to absorb right now, and the stress is overwhelming. I will do absolutely anything to give Marley the fighting chance she deserves.
I know the holiday season is tight for everyone, but if you have even a small amount you might be able to gift to help us cover this surgery for our beautiful, furry baby, we would be eternally grateful. Every dollar brings us closer to getting Marley the clarity and treatment she needs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
