Hi everybody. Over the last few years my mom, Margo, has been battling a rare lung disorder and has been put on oxygen 24/7. As we all know, my mom is a strong willed survivor and is determined to go through the process of being put on the list for a double lung transplant at Mass General. This involves a lot of traveling, hotel stays, hiring drivers (can't use public transportation due to exposure), food costs as well as the need for a stairlift to help her move between floors in her home. People have asked how they can help, as my mom has helped others endlessly in her many years as a mother, grandmother and teacher. This is a way to help relieve the financial stress so we can focus on what needs to happen next. Thank you all so much. We'll keep you posted of the journey.
