Helping Maddie with medical & living expenses

Hi everyone,

As most of you have heard about the shooting early Sunday morning, July 18th, at a parking lot in downtown Jackson, Maddie was one of those innocent bystanders hit by a stray bullet. She underwent a three and a half hour emergency surgery. Her bladder, colon and uterus were all effected. They were able to fix the uterus and bladder; unfortunately, the colon was damaged by the bullet and she now has a colostomy bag while her colon heals. In six to eight weeks, another surgery will follow to reattach her colon to her intestines. The bullet will remain lodged in her muscle in her left thigh area, as another surgery to remove the bullet would result in more damage. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with medical and monthly expenses. She has a long road to recovery and she will be out of work for several months.
