Hey everyone, this isn’t something I usually do. I’m sure some of you may know what is going on with Lux. She has had a hard start to life and unfortunately it hasn’t gotten any easier. She was in the hospital for the first two months of her life. She aspirated meconium in her lungs when I was in labor and they had to do an emergency c-section. I didn’t get to hold her until she was a month old because they had to put her on ecmo which a machine that acts as the heart and lungs so that way her body could rest and heal while the machine did the work for her. Because of all that she had a feeding tube the first two months of her life and wasn’t able to develop the sucking/swallowing/breathing part of feeding skills that most babies learn right away. She did end up coming home at the beginning of September but was only home for a week until she had to go back to the hospital ER. She’s been in ever since. She’s getting a feeding tube placed into her stomach tomorrow. My baby girl has had three surgeries already and she’s not even 3 months yet. I wouldn’t be asking for the help if I didn’t need it. It would help out so much even if it’s just a little. The medical bills still haven’t stopped coming in. We just want to be able to focus on our little girls health without the financial stress looming over us. Any kind of help is very much appreciated. ❤️
