On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, our lives were shattered by an unimaginable act of violence. What began as a normal day ended in tragedy when Luke Hollifield was shot and killed in a sudden road rage confrontation in New Carlisle, Ohio. His wife was right there by his side; while she was physically uninjured, her heart and life for her and their 3 young children have been completely changed.

Luke was a deeply loved partner, friend, and family member whose life was taken far too soon. As his family struggles to process this overwhelming grief and the trauma of that afternoon, they are also faced with the immediate, compounding stress of unexpected financial burdens.
