Hi, I’m yasmin and I’ve always been a cat lover the type who can’t walk past a hungry or frightened cat without trying to help.

Over the past year, I’ve started taking in stray and abandoned cats from my area. Most of them stay with me in my home while I feed them, help them recover, and make sure they feel safe and loved again. Some are scared, underweight, or injured — but with patience and care, they slowly learn that they’re finally safe.

I do this all out of love, but as any pet owner knows, vet bills in the UK have become incredibly expensive. Even basic check-ups, vaccinations, or flea and worm treatments can quickly add up — and when a cat needs emergency care or medication, it’s overwhelming to manage alone.

Fluffy’s Story When I first saw Fluffy, she was wandering alone on the road  scared, hungry, and visibly pregnant. I couldn’t just walk past her knowing she had no one to help. I asked around the neighbourhood to check if she belonged to anyone, but no one recognised her, so I decided to bring her home. The very next day, she gave birth to three healthy kittens. I was so relieved she was safe and indoors, not struggling outside on her own. Since then, I’ve been taking care of Fluffy and her babies  feeding them, keeping them clean, and making sure they’re healthy. I’d love to keep them all, but the costs of vet care, food, and supplies in the UK are really high, and it’s getting difficult to manage everything on my own.

This GoFundMe will help me cover essential costs like:

• Vet bills, vaccinations & medication

• Bedding, toys & cleaning supplies

• Transport to vet appointments or new homes

I don’t run an official shelter it’s just me, doing my best to give these cats a second chance from my own home. Every donation, no matter how small, helps me feed them, keep them healthy, and prepare them for loving forever homes.
