We are reaching out to you all today on behalf of our mom, Lorri.
Lorri has been struggling with a sudden, painful, unexplained paralysis for the last month. This paralysis has left her completely disabled. She cannot walk or do any basic tasks.
We have been blessed, and God allowed a way for Lorri to be admitted into Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, California.
While we are so grateful to be in the very capable hands of the Stanford physicians, the expenses are growing daily.
This mystery paralysis, her treatment and her recovery are going to require a lengthy hospital stay, far from home.
This illness has already prevented her from working for the last month, and we don't know how many more days of recovery will be required after she's released from the hospital.
And so now we are reaching out to you, our friends and family, to help contribute to our beautiful mom in her healing and recovery. We're praying that she can focus on the task of mending, rather than worry about any financial stress.
Mom has not yet recovered and her doctor’s are still running tests to try and figure this paralysis out. We don't know, yet what's causing it, how long she'll be here or how long her recovery will take.
We're asking for any help that you are able to give.
With love and gratitude,
The Gomez Family
