I'm Ruell Chappell and I'm asking you to help my dear friend Lori Harding. You may know her as Venice Harding.

Lori is a musician, a wonderful person, a hard worker, and a lifelong friend. In the last few months, Lori developed severe heart problems. After attempts to remedy her condition in Springfield, she was sent to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis for evaluation and treatment. There she would spend several weeks, During her time at Barnes, she was told she would receive a procedure that would help her heart pump more efficiently. However, days later, she was told that, due to the condition of her heart, she would not be receiving the procedure. She was then told that her meds would be reevaluated and she would be released to a rehabilitation facility in Springfield. Two days later she was told that her insurance would not cover rehabilitation and she would be released back to her house, in Springfield, where she lives alone. This presents an impossible situation. She cannot live alone without daily help.

This campaign is designed to raise funds to aid her in purchasing the help she needs as well pay normal living expenses as she can no longer work. I would take it as a personal favor if you would share this campaign with your friends, on your FB page, and contribute if possible.

I’ve only done one other such campaign previously for a friend who lost everything in a house fire. I do not take these campaigns lightly.

Lori has an enormous heart and an enormous group of friends in Springfield and across the country. If we all share this campaign and give what we can, we can make this campaign successful.
