Helping Loretta & David Wieler
Donation protected
{EDIT} Loretta made it to 30 weeks, then gave birth to a precious baby boy, being 10 weeks early he weighs only 3lbs 12oz. Mom and baby are both doing well, but their stay in Edmonton will still last a while. They currently have both daughters with them there and are staying at the Ronald McDonald House, but their son is still back home with grandparents. Please continue to keep them in your prayers and consider donating in whatever way possible!
Hi, my name is Stacy Barks (niece of David and Loretta), and I’ve created this go fund me to help David and Loretta get through an extremely hard situation.
At 19 weeks pregnant, Loretta’s water broke due to her uterus lacking blood flow. This put her on bed rest at home for a while before being sent to Edmontons Royal Alex hospital where she undergoes many ultrasounds to keep an eye on babies health. Both mom and baby’s lives are at risk and must be monitored closely. There is hope to keep baby growing until 32 weeks, but even then, baby willl be premature which will likely keep them in the hospital for a couple of months, at least until mid April/may.
This unfortunate circumstance has put David out of work, but sadly their expenses will increase. Currently they had to leave their 3 other children behind in the care of family, which meant they didn’t get to spend Christmas with them. For now, they are awaiting acceptance into the Ronald McDonald house, but until then, David has been staying with a friend.
Any financial help you are able to provide for my Uncle David, Aunty Loretta and their family is greatly appreciated. Prayers are also highly needed during this time ❤️ thank you, friends and family, in advance, for your help, love and support.
