Donation protected
As many of you might already know, Lisa was hit by a car in 1972 at the age of ten. Since then, she has been through so much. However, she is so strong and resilient, and has maintained the most positive attitude throughout the years.
Over the last 46 years, her parents, known to most as ‘Betty and Deano Touch’ have cared for Lisa unconditionally and put her needs before their own.
This year, Lisa was diagnosed with cancer. Due to the nature of her physical disabilities as well as her medical history, Lisa’s surgeries have been identified as high-risk. As a result, the family has made numerous trips to University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, where Lisa is at the moment.
After having her extensive surgery yesterday, more complications have occurred. The family has been informed that they will be staying in Philadelphia indefinitely for at least a week. Her parents have not left her side since arriving there. Also, while putting all of his focus on his daughter, Deano has missed his own radiation treatments here in Scranton.
They are unaware that we are doing this fundraiser, and will most likely be very upset with us. However, they have always been people who put others needs before their own. We feel it is time for us to help them in any way that we can. If you can help out, your love and support would be so greatly appreciated!
Thank You,
