A little while ago, respected elder and leader Lillian Howard (Mowachaht-Muchalaht First Nation and of Nuu-chah-nulth, Kwakwaka’wakw, and Tlingit ancestry) had a flood in her apartment and her neighbour sued her. Not having any renter's insurance and losing her case, Lillian now owes $10,000. 

We are asking for your support to assist Lillian and to raise the necessary money to settle her case (plus the fees on this site) for total of $11,000 - any extra will be used to purchase renter's insurance for Lillian.
