Leon is a son, brother, dad, grandad, friend & pillar of his community on the small Great Barrier Island,New Zealand.

Dad had a terrifying car accident, rolling 20m down hill to the ocean side rock.

Trapped overnight, fearing the car being inundated by water. He has many debilitating injuries & a long recovery.

The islands community have done a lot to support Dad in recent years with mental illness struggles & medical issues.

In return he dj’s a local radio show, does odd jobs & pretty much anything he can to show appreciation.

Now he is faced with extended physical rehabilitation & a car that is destroyed, unfortunately with no insurance.

We want to give dad a lift in moral by raising enough to buy him a little car to get around the island when he returns home from hospital.
