Our friend Benjamin M. Rinker unexpectedly passed away 8/28/26 while working out, leaving behind his beloved wife, Leah, and cherished one-year-old daughter, Josie. The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide long-term financial support for Josie, whom Ben was anxiously awaiting to take her first steps any day now. Josie's needs will change considerably as she grows, and as such, all funds will be placed in the Josie J. Rinker Legacy Trust (a/k/a The Hey Josie Trust) to be turned over to Leah as the trustee, to utilize for education, support, and maintenance of the one-year-old apple of Ben's eye, Josie Rinker. This fund is being set up by heartbroken friends who have one simple goal: to support Leah in this time and make sure Josie is taken care of. Ben, you are loved, and your inexplicable absence leaves a hole in all our lives. We will make sure your daughter knows what a wonderful father her dad was, and how deeply you adored her and her mother.

Hey Josie, when you are older, it will be our greatest honor to sit you down and talk about the man and father your daddy was. After years of tears and prayer, your birth was the miracle your parents (family and friends) had been praying for. The 13 months he had with you were some of the happiest we ever saw him have. You are a gift from God, your father's legacy, and so deeply loved.
