Helping Larry with travel for his next surgeries

Hi, My name is Kathy and I am Larry Jr's mom.

Larry is going to have surgery on both his feet at Boston Children's Hospital on May 12. It is very hard for me to ask for help for ourselves. I love fundraising and helping many nonprofits. Asking for us is not very easy.

Larry is having the first of a possible 3 sets of surgeries (on both feet) to help him maintain mobility----with his pain and wound issues, and mostly---it all ads up to---his quality of life. The surgeries on both his feet will bring his surgery total in his life to 109.

Larry is a great young adult. He often helps others and many local nonprofits by volunteering, public speaking and fundraising. He is very brave and never gives up no matter his hardships.

We have to drive because he is too uncomfortable on the airplane. Larry's body is always in pain. The best way to travel, even though it is long and far, is by driving.

Please donate if you are able to help us with travel expenses. We will be stopping once on the way there, and once on the way home. Larry will be in the hospital for about 2 days.
