In our community here in Richmond, we have been blessed with one of the funniest, most amazing, and talented people.  She has touched many of our lives here in the Fort Bend ISD community.  When I first started teaching here at Oakland Elementary, I had the pleasure of working alongside Peggy Mclean, where I witnessed this first hand.  I did not realize how amazing she was until I had my own daughter in her kindergarten class.  Our year was filled with Sophia coming home sharing the songs she had sung in class, stories of all the extra special activities, and all the magic that went on inside Peggy’s class.  If you have been blessed to have Peggy as your child’s kindergarten teacher in the past, you know what I mean!

               Recently some devastating news has fallen upon Peggy and her family.  Her son, Lance, was diagnosed with Leukemia.  Currently, they are at Texas Children’s Hospital where Lance is getting the best care.  Unfortunately, Texas Children’s Hospital is not In Network with her family’s insurance.  Both Peggy and her husband are hardworking Fort Bend ISD teachers who just want what is best for their son.  In hopes of lessening their burden, I have made this GO FUND ME account to go towards Lance’s medical bills.  If you know Peggy or her family, and would like to contribute, please do so… or at least put them in your prayers.  I know they would be greatly appreciative.
