Helping LaLa Walk Again

Hello everyone, our frenchie LaLa is a fun, energetic and loving little girl. Our sweet pup has been our best friend for the last two years and is the most wonderful part of our little family.
On November 11th, LaLa began to pant in discomfort and pain and suddenly became stiff and sluggish. The following day (Nov 12) LaLa lost the ability to move her back legs and our hearts broke. Our little bullet was now crying and collapsing on herself.
After visits to vets and the ER, we took LaLa to a specialist ER in Clearwater. She was diagnosed by Neurologists to have IVDD which is a slipped disc disease where fluid leaks and puts pressure on her spinal chord and nerves, rendering her immobile. The best approach that would actually bring her back to normal was to perform surgery ASAP.
Our furry companions are more than pets, they’re our family they’re our best friends. Both my husband and I are willing to do ANYTHING to make our little tank be the queen of the house again, no matter the cost.
The cost of this surgery and all of the tests leading up to it, was much more than we could give at once but the doctors guided us to applying for a way to begin treatment immediately.
LaLa went into surgery today after the MRI showed a slipped disc and debris in her spine.
We have not set up this GoFundMe expecting to make up all the expenses that we as her owners are responsible for. The amount listed includes all of her tests, MRI’s, hospitalization and her 4 hour spine surgery which was very intense.
Any bit of help would be massive for us.
We hope to see a full recovery from our little piggy but know the long road ahead (6-8 weeks) will be challenging. If you have made it this far, thank you for your time. ♥️
