On 14 November our friend Larry Arnold and his daughter Patricia survived a nightmare: a fire that destroyed their home. The fire consumed all that Larry and Patricia owned--clothes, furniture, family pictures, even their dear cat BB—everything of importance and value. After the fire, Larry and Patricia were forced to move to a motel where they are still living today. But the motel is expensive, and their resources are dwindling. And while the Red Cross, the Veterans Service Commission, and a few friends provided initial assistance, a difficult road lies just ahead. Larry and Patricia need a new home, clothing, furniture, and household furnishings. They need help getting back on their feet. Won’t you pitch in by contributing whatever you can afford to this campaign? A gift of any amount would be a blessing. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Mathew 25: 31-46
