Helping Kyle & Lindsay after the Marshall Fire
Donation protected
Now is our chance to give back to two people who give so much to their families, friends, and community.
Sadly, Kyle and Lindsay lost their home in the Marshall Fire while they were visiting Kyle's family in California. They are okay (as is their daughter, McKinley and their pup, Ruca), but they didn't get the opportunity to grab anything from their house before it was destroyed.
Through their work as Director of Middle School Ministry at Grace Commons Church (Kyle) and Nurse Practitioner in Endocrinology at Children's Hospital Colorado (Lindsay), they serve our Boulder County community day in and day out. When they're not volunteering with the National Sports Center for the Disabled or mentoring students from their church, they're connecting with family, friends, and each other.
Kyle and Lindsay's giving spirit, kindness, and generosity are unparalleled. Let's support them in their time of need as they have always supported us. Thank you for your generosity and lots of love to you all.
If you have any questions about the Rohan family's needs right now, please feel free to reach out to Becca Morray (friend and coworker). We set the fundraising goal high knowing how many people are eager to help them right now- and to cover everything that insurance won't (which will be a good amount), attempts to replace keepsakes and photos for them as best we can, and try to help them with rent and expenses these next few years as they move forward. In true Lindsay and Kyle spirit, they wanted to make sure that they could use the money raised to help their Sagamore neighbors who don't have as extensive communities and support that they do, too. Whatever funds are raised will go directly to the Rohan family to spend as they want in what is sure to be a long recovery.
