Hello, my name is Kurt and I'm trying to raise funds to get back on my feet after the recent loss of my mother. In 2018, she was diagnosed with cancer in her lungs. At that moment, I became her full-time caregiver as well as her sole surviving child after my sister passed away in 2023. As a result of handling her needs and managing appointments and day-to-day tasks, I had to leave the workforce. In that timeframe, I also had some medical issues that required two back surgeries and some hospital time of my own. We were solely reliant on her income sources as a result and this had been enough to make ends meet and needs satisfied. Her recent passing means I have to get everything underway to ensure that I can get back on my feet and meet my own needs from what is essentially the ground up again while managing her posthumous affairs. This will take time as I get applications filed and reviewed.

I also need to cover the remainder of my mother's funeral expenses as they were arranged but only partially paid.

As things progress, I will be providing updates to keep everyone up-to-date on the progress I'm making toward the end goal of getting myself back to where I need to be to handle my own affairs again and your consideration is greatly appreciated, thank you.
