On October 21st, 2023, in a twist of fate that shocked us all, Kristian suffered a potent heart attack. And it happened right where his heart truly belongs: on the mats, rolling with his students and friends, doing what he loves most. Now, as he bravely battles to regain his health, Kristian, along with his wife and soulmate, Trina—who is heartbreakingly grappling with this unexpected tragedy—needs the support of each one of us, as well as the collective strength of the entire jiujitsu community.
