My cat loving father passed away on February 13th.

The thing I'll remember most about my dad is his heart, and how he cared for every living creature. When I was a little girl he gave me a book called Insects Do The Strangest Things, and on the inside cover my dad wrote "I hope this book will help you to be less afraid of our tiniest of living things. It's just another freedom I'd like to help you attain".

His favorite animal was definitely the cat. He always had 2-3 at a time. Since I grew up in a different house with my mom, I didn't quite understand how much better life can be with kitties until 4 years ago when my first furball showed up asking for a place to live. 2 years later a deaf kitten showed up. I guess cats really do choose you.

Because of you dad ... I've joined a team of caregivers that feed and house 7 feral cat colonies in Mallorca. Every Tuesday night it's my job to visit each colony, making sure they have lots of food and clean water, and checking to see that they're ok.

In my father's honor I'd like to ask for a bit of help taking care of these 60+ homeless cats. My goal is to improve their living conditions. $5 buys them a warm blanket ... $10 buys them dinner ... $20 buys them a shelter from the rain. Please know that the smallest contribution makes a huge difference. I promise to share photos and videos of all the progress.
