Helping Kimmy Linder with financial expenses

Hi everyone! My name is Kim DeLong. I, along with friends and family members of Kimmy Linder have decided to embark upon a fund raiser for Kimmy.

For those of you who know Kimmy, I am sure you will agree that she is a very selfless gal. She is currently battling a form of Non Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma – stage 4 nonetheless; which is, most will know, there’s no cure. Kimmy is currently traveling to Dr’s appointments one week, and chemo appointments the next… she’s constantly on the hop traveling to and fro. I ask myself how she manages? I struggle trying to grasp the burden of the appointments and juggling all the other curve balls life seems to have. Being a single mother, she’s had no easy road.

Many have met Kimmy at Hayward House since she’s been employed there nearly 5 years. Hayward House offers support for individuals needing mental health guidance and services. She’s also a former security guard for the Eagles Nest and prior to that she worked at TLC (aka Truth Love & Compassion) as a Support Worker. During this same time period she also was a child protection mentor.

Are you getting a picture of who this gal is?? She’s one of the women in this community that a lot of people have relied upon for strength and support. It’s now our turn to give back and support a gal who not only needs our help but she deserves our help. She’s been there for a lot of people over the past during their bleakness of times and their darkest moments… please help us help Kimmy. We have organized the Go Fund Me page to ease some of the financial burdens at this chaotic time for her.
