Friends and Family.Our son who has huntington's disease has progressed to a point we can no longer deny. If you have a moment, Richard can use your calls.He is a millwright tradesman and due to the progression of the disease cannot keep actively working in the trade.   If you read about the disease, it is incureable. Once you understand the disease it understandable how a person can get this deep.He is in the process of losing his home due to financial reasons and and require approx. 40k to get him back into his home. Once back in his home we can continue to assist him with the services which are available for him through the Huntington Society. Rich is 40 and his mom Laurie is watching her boy let the disease take his clear thought and reasoning processes. Upto now Rich has denied the disease but has realized he needs our help both spiritually and financially.Rich was always the person helping others and is too proud to ask for help. He loves living up north and hunting and fishing is his life and we wish to keep him in his home as long as he physically possible. This could be a shorter period than we hope. If you have time, please read up on Huntingtons. There are variables with the disease which hopefully do not run their course and his thought processes have caused him not to prioritise simple tasks. Not knowing how quick the disease progresses is the biggest unknown and concern.
