Helping Kenton with Ongoing Medical Costs
Please consider donating to Help Kenton manage
the Monthly cost of Medical supplies needed to
stay alive. Many would assume that basic items
such as Syringes for Flushing Feeding tubes and
even the Feeding tubes themselves would be
covered under our great medical system here in
Canada, but No, they are not. Items that seem
small add up quickly to become overwhelming
financially when it is long term.
Kenton suffers from Severe Chronic Ulcerated
Colitis. After being misdiagnosed for most of his
life, He also had secondary bowel Cancer. He has
Paralyzed Intestines and Chronic Intestinal Psuedo-obstruction.
As of July 2017 Kenton has only 100cm or 45in
of Small Bowel remaining in his body and No Large Bowel at all. He receives all of his hydration and
nutrition through tubes. He has not eaten food for many years now. An Average Man has a combined
length of 25’ of Small and Large Bowel. Kenton has only 3.9’ remaining.
Kenton lives Daily with extreme pain and nausea.
Ironically he cannot be admitted to Palliative Care unless a designated window for Death can be givenwithin the next 6-12 Months.
Kenton is a Kind and Generous Husband and
Father. It is Very Difficult to have to ask for help
just to survive daily.
Some examples of the Costs he needs help
covering are Posiflush Syringes. 10 Boxes/Month

The Global Pandemic has made life hard for
everyone. With hospital restrictions in place if
Kenton were to end up back in the hospital
indefinitely once again who knows when or if he
may ever see his family and children ever again.
Please help if you can. Any amount is greatly
appreciated, no amount is too small. Everything
helps!
Thank you for taking the time to read Kenton’s
story and for considering donating to help him
survive.
