On Sunday July 20, 2020 the Swenson's were enjoying a nice family day at the lake along in Sweet Home, Oregon with another family, creating memories. As many know Kennedy is a thrill seeking, never dull, loving child who has the most contagious smile and giggle. 

While Kennedy was playing on the beach with her friends a man lost control of his jet ski and it came onto the beach striking Kennedy and her friend.  Kennedy was rushed to the hospital via ambulance and escorted by the local Sheriff's Department to a local hospital to then be airlifted to Doernbecher's Children's Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries. 

Although Kennedy is the toughest kid around she has  suffered a broken jaw and fractures, cracked sternum, lacerated liver and few other injuries which includes surgeries.  She has a long road to recovery and unfortunately her family will have the burden of medical expenses afterward.   

Jessica & Jared grew up in our community and have shown their love to each person they have crossed paths with.  Jessica's parents Bob and Joann Levine are also very involved with the community and are joining us in asking for help in anyway possible.
