My wife, Kayla Bittick, was having some issues in March, so she went to the doctor to get checked. We got the news you never want to hear. They did a biopsy on a cervical mass and found she has an extremely rare & aggressive cervical cancer (adenosquamous carcinoma, with features of glassy cell carcinoma). We’ve been trying to conceive for a few years and have gone to several fertility appointments over the last year, which is how we caught it. Her treatment at MD Anderson will consist of 26 External Radiotherapy Treatments, a few 72 hour stay Brachytherapy Radiation Procedures, and Chemo every single week. We can use all the prayers and positive energy we can get. Kayla is a small business owner and is not one to ask for money, so this is tough for her to do, but we know the road ahead is going to be a hard one and we can use all the help we can get. Anyone who knows her knows she is the hardest working individual you can meet. Nobody deserves cancer. My wife is the most kind and loving woman I’ve ever met, she does not deserve this. We’re going to beat this!
