Update: Years ago we asked for helped while Katrina healed from a heart attack. Unfortunately, we have to ask for help again. After a recent colonoscopy, Katrina was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rectal Cancer. She will begin chemo treatment soon, with the hopes of surgery after that to remove the tumor. Even at this stage, the bills for the doctor visits (of which there are many) are adding up. There will be more. Plus, with treatment/surgery costs, even with insurance, will be a challenge. We will appreciate any and all donations. Trust us, nobody wants to be in this position and we'd much rather not have to ask for help. Unfortunately, sometimes life deals you these temporary speedbumps. Thank you for any support you are able to give. Katrina is a Pre-K teacher, a mother of four, and an amazing wife. She loves Halloween, Christmas, the TV show Friends, and Harry Potter.

I'm Katrina's boyfriend, Jeffrey. On Sunday December 27th Katrina had a heart attack caused by a tear in one of the arteries in the heart. She was hospitalized for about a week. She is now home recovering. People wanted to help, so here's a way to do a little something if you feel inclined. The money raised here will go to the expense of medicine that she now has to take for at least a year, any possible medical bills (since she has no medical insurance currently), and just for general help since she is missing some work. The amount seems crazy, but I just quickly chose something. Anything will be helpful and greatly appreciated. We both thank you.
