On the afternoon of January  21st, I received the hard news from Katie that her home was on fire. Katie has worked with me for three years now and is a newlywed with her husband Leo and beautiful son Luka.

First and foremost, everyone is safe and okay. Unfortunately, the family had almost all of their belongings packed and stored in their garage, where the fire took over, for their upcoming move. Nothing in the garage was recovered. This loss has left Katie and her family balancing the gratitude of everyone’s safety with the stress and uncertainty of what’s next.

I have started this GoFundMe in an effort to give the family some peace of mind while now juggling two mortgages and the need for resources to slowly replace what they have lost. Please consider donating, any amount is most appreciated.
