Many of you know and love Kat Gross, the Arizona State University student that was the force behind moving the largest university in the US to shift from meat-first to plant-first dining halls. Her dad was killed in a car accident on February 24. He died instantly. He was her best friend and she is understandably heart broken. He was also an animal advocate and ER physician who helped us do our first culinary training in Arizona with his hospital, Canyon Vista Medical Center.

I was thinking about how we could help her and thought it would be great if anybody wants to help contribute towards her rent over the next few months. She only has three months left of school until she graduates and I know her dad helped her financially. I thought this would be a meaningful way we could truly help her so she can graduate and become the successful person we all know she will be.
