Helping Kai Get His Camera Equipment Back

Hey everybody,

Whether you know me or not, I hope you're seeing this because you are a friend of Kai. He's a great person, friend, and filmmaker, and it's really such a bummer and unfortunate (and just saddening) to hear how out of all people, his car got broken into this past week and some thieves took $2500+ of camera equipment, that he worked hard to save up for and purchase, using funds from his videomaking career.

As you may know, Kai makes videos on YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok, and always keeps us laughing and smiling with his creativity and sharing what he thinks people will enjoy. And losing part of his ability to give us and the world that, is so unfortunate, that I wanted to start this GoFundMe so that we can all pitch in to help him out to get new camera equipment to replace what was stolen, as well as a little extra to help repair his window/cover for his insurance rates going up.

If you also know, Kai just relocated to San Francisco just a few weeks ago to live with his brother, after being essentially forced to leave his place in Hawaii. Too much has been happening to him, so let's help him out! He has reported this to the authorities of course, and there is video of the theft, but as it stands, it seems very unlikely they'll be able (or put in the effort) to catch the culprits.
