If you’ve ever met Julie, you learn two things quickly, she has a beautiful smile and a gigantic heart.
In March, 2019 she was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in her sacral spine. She underwent two extensive surgeries, days apart, to remove the cancer. This was followed up with 5 rounds of radiation treatments.
For the first seven months, she was cancer free. Unfortunately, just as she was returning to work from her 6 month medical leave, we received the news that the cancer had returned.
There is a long, hard battle ahead for her and the people that love her so much. She has already undergone her third spinal surgery and is preparing for 5 more rounds of radiation and 2-4 rounds of chemotherapy. Each round of chemo will require a 3-4 day hospitalization.
Julie and her family need to put all their energy towards her recovery. ANY amount donated will go towards helping them with mounting medical bills and the expenses that come when a catastrophic illness strikes a family.
She is approaching this next battle with strength and determination and she has an amazing support system that is as equally determined to see her win!
So many people have expressed a desire to help and the greatest gifts we can give are prayers and peace of mind. I know that she and her family will be appreciative of anything that is given.
