We are reaching out during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time for our family. My stepdad, Joseph, was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident after hitting a deer at approximately 65 miles per hour. We are beyond grateful that his injuries were not life-threatening, but he did suffer a severe leg injury that required surgery, including rods placed in his leg and screws in his ankle.

Unfortunately, due to his injuries and recovery, he will be out of work for the next few months. On top of that, my mom, Angel, will also be out of work for several weeks so she can take care of him during his recovery.

This accident has created an overwhelming amount of stress: physically, emotionally, and financially. Between medical bills, regular household expenses, and the sudden loss of income, the burden will be heavy.

This GoFundMe is meant to help relieve some of that financial stress, assist with medical costs, and cover everyday bills while Joseph focuses on healing and my mom focuses on caring for him.
