Hello! My name is Jose Andres, but my family and friends call me Andy. I am 1 year old, and I live in Queretaro, Mexico, with my parents, my big brother, and our 2 dogs. I was born with a medical condition called Spina Bifida, along with other complications associated with this, like Arnold Chiari syndrome and hydrocephaly. Since I was born, I’ve had other health issues, like laryngomalacia, a problem in my larynx that causes me difficulties to breath and eat. I have undergone seven surgeries, and currently, doctors are waiting for my health to improve so I can have another surgery (on my stomach). I’ve been in the hospital several times for different reasons, but I am super strong, I am a fighter!

Three days ago I got really sick, I had pneumonia and septicemia. So currently I’m in the hospital again. I don’t have health insurance (no insurance company will accept me due to all my medical history), so every expense is coming out of pocket, and my parents cannot afford all these expenses anymore. They need to pay for doctor visits, medicines, studies, therapies, surgeries, my oxygen machine, orthesis… we need help!!  Any donation received will be entirely used for my current and further medical expenses. Any amount, as little as it can be, is helpful and very well appreciated. We also need lots of prayers, for me, and for my family. Thank you very much.
